Surf camp Morocco - frequently asked questions
The camp is in Tamraght, a village on the Atlantic coast just north of Agadir in Morocco. Anchor Point and Killer Point - two of the best-known right-hand point breaks in the country - are on the doorstep, and the beach is a short walk away.
Agadir Al Massira Airport (AGA) is the closest airport and is roughly a four-hour direct flight from most European hubs. Tamraght is about a 30-minute drive from the airport. Tell us your arrival time and we will arrange the transfer.
Morocco has waves year-round, and the European peak season runs from October to April, when Atlantic swells are most consistent. Unlike Sri Lanka the water is cooler here, so a wetsuit is used.
Yes. Sessions are run by experienced, ISA-certified coaches at a maximum of four students per instructor, and beginners are taught on beach breaks near Tamraght rather than on the points. More experienced surfers are guided to whichever break is working that day.
Shared rooms for up to three guests, private single rooms, and private double rooms - all with a rooftop terrace looking out over the Atlantic. Optional yoga sessions run alongside the surf schedule.
